Updating blizzard launcher diablo 3
How can I get past "Updating setup files..." when reinstalling Diablo 3, and what is error BLZPTS0007?
Here is the fix that finally worked for Graev: Fix #1 Go to Control Panel Properties Change it from ‘Disabled’ to ‘Automatic’ Run your Diablo 3 setup as administrator and it should quickly go through Updating Setup Files and bring you to an install screen.
Seeing if anyone else having issues today or if there's a kind soul able to offer help.
I would love to know why these programs are crapping out on me or if my computer is total garbage. Each group or usernames give full control in all options (the EDIT and Advanced buttons too). Please anyone face this problem knows how to fix this ?
With this i was able to launch the launcher and start patching, logged in and played abit. Please post this on D3 tech support forums cus i cant. Thanks So basicly when i tried logging into the diablo beta this morning, the launcher said there was an update, after about 30 min it was still at 0%.
I have nothing in My Documents, I have the launcher files in C:\Program Data and I have removed all of those, I have cleared all of my various temporary file locations as per the recommendations, rebooted, ensured that none of the files had returned, etc etc - still doesn't get past that screenshot For whatever reason, Internet Explorer (which I never use) was set to "work offline".
For whatever reason, with Internet Explorer set to work offline, the Diablo 3 installer was failing to do anything other than time out.You can also disable firewalls as this can cause network problems (remember to re-enable them again afterwards though).Make sure multiple instances of aren't running (remove all the processes, try again).Graev was unable to play Diablo 3 during the beta due to a problem with the launcher giving an error. it will get stuck for a min or so and then work Fix #5 (Thanks SCH) NOTE: This Fix is experimental. Proceed with Fix #5 at your own risk, “I followed all of the posted fixes and none of them were working for me.After pre-ordering tonight and downloading the client to be ready for Tuesday, we ran into the same problem and thought all hope was lost. Close it, and ctrl alt delete and end the “Agent” process. Go to C/programdata/battle.net/agent and run the “Agent” executable 4. An user on the forums posted his version of the C:\Program Data\Battle. All you have to do is replace his version with your old version, and hopefully everything should work (as it did for me).” -SCH from comments - Fix #5 Additional Notes: If you get a decryption error it means you probably didn’t finish the download. decryption error might also indicate a corrupt download. If that doesn't help, delete the folder Battle.net/Agent (probably in your Application Data or App data directories, use search if you can't find it). This is helping people with some updating issues, don't know if it will fix yours. You can also disable firewalls as this can cause network problems (remember to re-enable them again afterwards though).
